Executive Assistant - Corporate Communications (New York, NY)

IMG is seeking an Executive Assistant in the Corporate Communications department of the company’s New York office located at 11 Madison Ave.

The position has various responsibilities, including:

  • Managing day-to-day administrative tasks on behalf of IMG’s head of communications
  • Managing internal organization of communications projects, including coordination of intra- and inter-department processes to ensure all deadlines are met and quality work is delivered
  • Coordinating media invitations for corporate events
  • Keeping all department-related materials up-to-date
  • Researching, writing and editing accurate, timely content (press releases, pitches, fact sheets, Q&As, speeches, backgrounders etc.) that reflects the agency’s goals, priorities, values and brand
  • Compiling and distributing a daily roundup of industry and client-related articles
  • Organizing and executing company-wide cultural initiatives
  • Staying ahead of the news cycle and trending stories; bringing new and unique story and partnership ideas to the table

Ideal candidates must have / be:

  • Proven proofreading skills, a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional, dependable, resourceful, hard-working, efficient, detail-oriented, articulate, creative and highly-motivated

Administration/General Management: Payroll
Payroll Administrator - IMG (Cleveland, OH)


  • Ensure accurate processing and recording of IMG semi-monthly payrolls for approximately 1200 employees
  • Collect pay data for processing, including new hires, terminations, changes, commission payment Coordinate with Human Resources regarding personnel changes (e.g. short-term disabilities, terminations, pay rate changes, etc.)
  • Process child support and garnishment orders
  • Process off-cycle paychecks as necessary
  • Prepare payroll journal entries for each pay period for all the various payrolls using Excel and posting into SAP
  • Coordinate with employees, department managers, Human Resources, and Finance & Accounting staff to resolve payroll-related issues as they arise
  • Research and resolve issues that may arise with notices from various tax jurisdictions
  • Assist year-end payroll reporting and preparation of W-2 forms
  • Assist with various audits and provide information to auditors as needed


  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years payroll experience required; experience processing multi-state payroll preferred
  • Current knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding payroll, understanding of proper taxation of employer-paid benefits a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (SAP/ADP preferred)
  • Must possess problem-solving and analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential material and communicate with various levels of management

Our company payroll is migrating to Workday Payroll in 2018.  Experience with Workday Payroll is highly preferred.

Prominent full-service talent agency is looking for a candidate to work as the assistant to the Speakers division department head. This position offers great experience in all facets of the department in both sales and event coordination.  At least one year in an administrative role within the entertainment industry is a plus.


This position is responsible for supporting the agent including but not limited to:

-Answering phones

-Working with the agent to help in the contracting process

-Inputting and tracking contracts

-Following up on payments
