Communications: Media/Public Relations Servicing
Global Fashion Communications Coordinator - IMG (New York, NY)

IMG is currently seeking a Coordinator to join the company’s global corporate communications team, focused on IMG’s fashion business. This position will support the global team on various fashion-related initiatives for businesses including  IMG Models, Art + Commerce, M2M, The Wall Group, more than 30 fashion events globally (including MADE).  This role reports into the Vice President of Global Fashion Communications.


  • Assist the global fashion communications team with drafting, editing and disseminating communications including media alerts, press releases, internal communications, messaging documents and more for audiences both internal and external.
  • Manage and regularly update global master fashion media contacts list (requiring a working knowledge of Cision, Meltwater, etc).
  • Develop and maintain expertise in all available communications tools/techniques including new media, measurement platforms, and newswires that directly our global fashion initiatives.
  • Research, route and coordinate press inquiries for various executives throughout the WME | IMG organization.
  • Monitor and maintain a master calendar for global fashion events, including launches, signings and relevant and timely activations.
  • Support and help direct onsite media operations for US domestic events (NYFW & MADE NY and LA).
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of guest lists as well as registration and check -ins for events.
  • Develop and foster external relationships with fashion and lifestyle media, with the eventual goal of pitching stories directly.



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant public relations experience
  • Superlative project management and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications a must
  • Editorial relationships with fashion and lifestyle media a plus

Senior Account Executive - Public Relations - IMG Global Partnerships, Brand Strategy and Activation (New York, NY)

We are currently looking for a Senior Account Executive with 3-6 years of consumer public relations and social media experience to continue to help grow our award-wining agency.

  • Assist senior management in developing proposals and gathering information for new business opportunities.
  • Oversee AC’s and AE’s on various assignments, provide appropriate instruction to junior staff members and facilitate teamwork by delegating and involving junior staff members whenever possible.
  • Create budget status reports and review job status reports, seeking counsel from senior management in reviewing financial reports, projecting budgets, and other related financial materials.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the development of account plans and ideas and participate in program presentations.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully pitching local/regional/national media.
  • Develop media contacts and initiate implementation of media events such as press conferences, briefings and media tours.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, building an understanding and knowledge of the clients’ business and competitive environments.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and affinity for digital tools and platforms.
  • Proactively offer and implement new ways to meet client needs.
  • Write and edit press materials and verify information to assure accuracy of media materials and contacts.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a full range of media materials including media releases, fact sheets, photo captions, client correspondence and reports.
  • Report program results to agency management and client.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources in implementing research projects.


Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in public relations or similar position in a non-agency setting.
