Producer - Art + Commerce - WME|IMG (New York City, NY)

Art + Commerce is looking for a producer to support a photographer’s agent. The candidate’s primary objective is to oversee all production once a job is awarded. The candidate will work closely with the agent, freelance producers, accounting department and studio managers to assist in successful completion of projects. This position requires a calm, strong, intelligent, intuitive personality. This person must be able to maintain a positive attitude, respond efficiently to requests, and communicate with people politely and effectively at all different levels. This position allows for the producer to work with a collaborative team, interacting with exceptional photographers, while obtaining an insider’s view of commercial photography at the highest level.

Qualifications:

 ·        A minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion production (print + film preferred)

·        Proven experience managing teams and personnel 

·        Strong negotiator and excellent communicator

·        Comfortable interfacing with high level clients and artists 

·        Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment 

·        Must be able to multi-task and oversee numerous coinciding projects 

·        Specialized knowledge of the fashion and advertising market

Daily Responsibilities:

·        Liaising between artists and clients to produce and manage productions

·        Overseeing large scale productions and being the point person for photographer and client

·        Attending pre-production meetings and shoots when necessary

·        Creating and managing budgets, negotiating fees and expenses

·        Creating call sheets + production books as needed

·        Maintaining and organizing calendars and schedules for jobs and meetings

·        Optioning stylists, hair, makeup, set designers and studios 

·        Optioning DPs and film crew

·        Manage the booking of artist travel, hotel + additional needs

·        Supervise advance invoicing and final billing for closed jobs 

Salary commensurate with experience

Fashion: Image Archive
Junior Librarian - IMG Replay (New York, NY)

Job Summary

To provide all general librarian tasks associated with audio visual storage, cataloguing of material on the IMG library system (Nesbit) and servicing customers for IMG Sales, Replay (Archive) and Original Content.  This will include other tasks such as logging, media management, research and maintaining relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers.  Direct contact with the Head of Library & Digital Content (based in London) will be a regular occurrence.

Responsibilities:

  • Cataloguing new media assets on the IMG library system (Nesbit)
  • Labeling and bar-coding new media assets
  • Shelving new and current media assets
  • Collecting and distributing media assets as requested
  • Researching footage requests and creating digital screeners for IMG Replay customers
  • Responding to internal requests regarding library inventory
  • Coordinating pick-ups and deliveries from the off-site storage vendor
  • Creating media labels for upcoming Original Content events
  • Completing special library projects as directed

Key Results

  • To offer accurate and timely support to Media Sales, Replay and Original Content
  • To service all IMG clients and customers in a professional manner
  • To retain meticulous records in respect of IMG’s audio visual content on the IMG library system (Nesbit)
  • To manage on and off site storage facilities, to safe-guard the library holdings and achieve the best possible pricing for the services provided off-site
  • To develop professional, friendly and fruitful relationships both internally and externally

Knowledge and Experience

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative in problem solving
  • Knowledge of video and film formats
  • Experience tracking costs and maintaining accurate records of direct dealings with vendors
  • Experience of working in a production environment
  • High level of international sports knowledge
  • Experience of logging rushes and selecting material for edits

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong computer skills (Mac, PC, MS Office – specifically Excel and Word)
  • Ability to remain focused on a task over a period of time
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 40 lb boxes from the floor to shelves and from one table to another
  • Working knowledge of Avid Media Composer or any comparable editing software

Qualifications

  • College Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a library/archive department

Senior Director, Marketing & Activation - WME|IMG (New York, NY)

IMG Fashion Events & Properties is looking for a Senior Director, Marketing & Activation who will work across categories creating 360° marketing programs for sponsors to integrate into various IMG Fashion events and properties including New York Fashion Week, MADE and MADE LA. Working together with the sales team, the role will be responsible for ideation and proposal writing integrating digital, social, content and live activation. Once a sponsor is sold in, the Senior Director, Marketing & Activation will be responsible for client management, timelines and execution of the program. This role's primary focus will be on U.S. properties with the opportunity to work on global fashion week events. 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales and integrated marketing colleagues to create cross-platform marketing programs that support sponsorship sales initiatives and meet client KPIs
  • Collaborate across divisions including digital, talent, designer divisions content producers to develop innovative ideas and marketing programs that support sponsor programs.
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors in the execution and implementation of brand activations including social media, ad products and marketing/digital production partners
  • Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the development and execution of programs
  • Manage the day-to-day work flow, planning, timelines, costs to ensure that all project needs are met on time and within budget
  • Follow industry insights and trends for assigned categories and share updates in department meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ sales experience within the luxury/fashion/entertainment industry
  • Experience writing and package creative sales presentations
  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with high-level clients and maintains strong industry contacts
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Knowledge of InDesign a plus
