The 2010 Summer Program is from June 7 - July 30.  Interns are required to work a 40+ hour work week during this time frame.

The Management Intern will work closely with the Executive team to develop, research  and implement a wide variety of special projects.

The Sony Ericsson Open is looking for a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as Marketing Intern for one of the most prestigious tennis events in the world. The Intern will report to the Marketing Manager and will assist in executing tournament's marketing and promotion plan.

The 2010 Sony Ericsson Open will be played March 22- April 4 at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Miami. The combined event is owned and operated by IMG. The Sony Ericsson Open is one of nine ATP Masters Series events on the ATP calendar, a top tier event on the Sony Ericsson WTA TOUR calendar, and features the top men's and women's tennis players in the world.

Primary Responsibilities
• Book talent and manage schedule for tournament's on-site entertainment stage
• Assist in coordinating off-site promotional events
• Help with the implementation of the tournament's VVIP program and Kick-Off Party
• Assist in updating tournament’s Facebook and Twitter pages
• Other duties as assigned by Marketing Manager

Qualifications
• College degree or current college student
• Event operation experience preferred
• Marketing experience a plus
• Patient, organized and self motivated
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Must be team-oriented
• Must have good time management skills
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Assist Stars & Aces Liaison with player appearances when needed
• Arrange travel for off-site media events for players and media
