Legal: Clerk/Paralegal
Corporate Paralegal - Endeavor (New York, NY)

Description:

  • Assist in managing the company’s contract management system, uploading contracts, training users, ensuring proper integration with sales systems
  • Manage the company’s invoice management system
  • Maintain the company’s litigation and insurance dockets
  • Support the administration of the company’s record retention policy, including legal holds
  • Assist in maintaining corporate records and responding to requests for corporate information
  • Assist with legal department communications, including internal newsletters
  • Perform other clerical duties such as coordinating and scheduling meetings and conferences, providing information to callers, composing routine correspondence, and reading and routing incoming mail.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years paralegal experience focused on corporate or business initiatives
  • PC Skills including (but not limited to) Advanced Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint
  • Strong work ethic and initiative
  • Must be highly confidential to protect sensitive information
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines with accuracy

Legal: General Counsel/Contractual Law
Associate Counsel - Endeavor Global Marketing (New York, NY)

The Role

The Legal Department is responsible for utilizing the law, contracts, and business judgment to help Endeavor meet its goals by effectively balancing business and legal risks. Endeavor Legal is currently seeking an Associate Counsel to support the Endeavor Global Marketing division. This position is located in New York, NY and reports to the Vice President and Counsel. The ideal candidate has transactional experience at a top law firm and/or in-house practice, including commercial transactions, advertising, marketing, event production and digital experience.

The Endeavor Global Marketing division helps global brands leverage all aspects of culture creating an experience for their consumers and fan engagement, including brand management and solutions, experiential marketing, activations, strategic consulting services, public relations, communications, digital consulting, creative ideation and design, branded content development and production, event management and production, digital and social campaigns, influencer programs, naming rights, partnerships, and sponsorships.

Position Key Attributes

  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial contracts, including consulting, master services, statements of work, talent, influencer, representation, licensing, creative services, sponsorship, vendor, marketing, digital services, and production agreements, including participation and guest releases, photo releases, waivers, location, rental and venue agreements.
  • Providing legal counsel, issue spotting and analyzing complex legal and business issues.
  • Reviewing creative and marketing materials for compliance with FTC and other laws and regulations, and providing risk analysis and assessment.
  • Advising the business unit on clearance and rights issues for the use of third party materials in marketing and promotional materials.
  • Assist legal team in proper indexing and filing of legal documents; ensure an efficient and effective contract administrative and document management process.
  • Research, manage and track existing contractual obligations, including compliance with existing contractual obligations and evaluating exclusivity requirements.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school. Admitted to NY Bar (or another state bar permissible under NY in-house counsel rules).
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of legal experience, preferably with experience in the entertainment, sports or media industry.
  • PC Skills including (but not limited to) Advanced Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized and thorough.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines with accuracy.
  • Have strong negotiation, drafting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will enable candidate to interact with a range of personalities and styles in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Have an effective problem-solving approach, and be well-organized and have a strong work ethic.
  • An upbeat temperament, dynamic personality and highly team-oriented approach to work.
