Essential Functions:
• Develop and cultivate relationships with all major collegiate retail buyers in all channels of distribution.
• Manage the day to day communication with major retail buyers and other retail marketing/support staff within specified channels.
• Travel as needed to retailer buying offices (regional and national) to ensure strong partnership, development, and direction of key retail chains within channels.
• Help deliver collegiate retail marketing programs.
• Assist Brand Development team in designing and implementing new incremental collegiate licensing programs.
• Work with staff in the Licensing Apparel, Licensing Non Apparel, and Partner Services to set the strategy for retail related initiatives for CLC's clients as well as deliver key retail insights.
• Assist NCAA & Bowl Properties Division with establishing annual retail marketing strategies for these properties and hot market events.
• Deliver Retailer Insights Deck to key retail buyers.
• Oversee the coordination of all retail-related trade show meetings, join in all pertinent licensee meetings, and assist in overall tradeshow strategic planning.
• Oversee the coordination of all hospitality-related events for collegiate retail buyers, including bowl games, Final Four and other NCAA events.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at various events
• Oversee the development and direction for the Distribution Channel Matrix.
• Deliver key channel and retail specific analysis to senior management, and institutional and licensee partners.
• Analyze output data from On-line Royalty Reporting System.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Assist with logistical implementation of promotional programs (production & shipping) on an as needed basis.
• Contribute information to quarterly and annual reports to university and other clients.
• Represent the Retail Development Department during client institution and key licensee meetings.
• Advise supervisor on retailer/licensee/industry issues.
• Contribute articles to company publications.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
• Four year college degree.
• Preferred background in sports or consumer products retail with 3-5 years experience.

• Required Travel 15 %

• Interface with the PCM Department and coordinate the processing of any requests that fall under the exclusive agreements
• Prepare information for the Phase 2 process prior to giving the responses to the appropriate Coordinator
• Plan, develop and implement new standards for licensees
• Create customized addendum, appendices, and new accounts as needed for separate evaluation
• Assist in artwork review, processing of addendum, quality samples, etc as needed
