Responsible for all aspects of corporate sales activities related to inventory associated with athletics multi-media agreement.
Prospect research and solicitation
Proposal development and presentation to prospective clients
Closing and fulfillment services for signed advertising/sponsorship agreements
Coordinate media material placement for accounts
Work in coordination and cooperation with other sales and office staff members in developing new sponsorship ideas and packages.
Additional Functions:
Various other projects as assigned by the General Manager
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of four years of experience and success in radio, TV and/or sports advertising/sponsorship sales.
Individual should be creative, self-motivated and while being able to contribute ideas and professional supports to a cooperative sales working environment.
Individual should have strong knowledge of and affinity for collegiate sports.
The ability to conduct productive prospect research, set appointments with qualified prospects, develops, writes and present sponsorship proposals and write routine business correspondence to prospects and clients.
Individual must possess adequate public speaking and presentation skills, time management and organizational expertise and the ability to handle multiple client accounts and their associated fulfillment activities.
